Dr. Sahana Prasad has been practicing Family and Aesthetic Dentistry in California since 1999 and is one of the leading general and cosmetic dentists in the bay area. Over the past ten years she has spent hundreds of hours in continuing education courses in order to stay current on advances in dentistry. In addition to family dentistry, Dr. Prasad has dedicated herself to the art and science of implant and cosmetic dentistry.
Prior to her arrival in the USA Dr. Prasad practiced dentistry in India. There,
as a General Dentist, she performed Oral and Perio Surgeries (Minor),
Oral Prophylaxis, Complete and Partial Dentures (RPDs and FPDs), Root
Canals, Fillings, Crowns, and Inlays.
Dr. Prasad and her family live in Saratoga. She is an active member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Implant Study Groups and Saratoga Chamber of Commerce. She volunteers at her daughters’ elementary school and loves to travel, read, bike and go camping.
