Dr. Sahana Prasad has been practicing Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in California since 1999 and is one of the leading Cosmetic Dentist in the Bay Area. Over the past eleven years she has treated hundreds of patients ranging from Basic Dental Care to Full Mouth Restoration including Implants, Crowns, Veneers, Bridges and Invisalign® Orthodontic Treatment.
Although her early training was in General Dentistry, Dr Prasad has taken advantage of every opportunity to broaden her knowledge and skill. She has worked under many well known Cosmetic Dentists and attended continuing education courses across the United States to stay current on latest advances in functional orthodontic techniques, implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. She honed her cosmetic dentistry skills at PAClive, the nation's premiere hands-on live patient continuing education program.

Prior to her arrival in the USA Dr. Prasad practiced dentistry in India. There, as a General Dentist, she performed Oral and Perio Surgeries (Minor), Oral Prophylaxis, Complete and Partial Dentures (RPDs and FPDs), Root Canals, Fillings, Crowns, and Inlays.
Dr. Prasad and her family live in Saratoga. She is an active member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Implant Study Groups and Saratoga Chamber of Commerce. She volunteers at her daughters’ elementary school and loves to travel, read, bike and go camping.
